We spent a nice vacation here. I appreciated that the hotel is located in a nice and quiet park, nothing disturbed us at night. The equipment is quite basic, but ok. Personally, I would appreciate a few little things in the room like cotton pads, also a kettle would add another star. The staff could smile bit more. The breakfast was sufficient, slightly varied, the only thing I missed was green tea. A great advantage of the hotel is the location - excellent accessibility to the center, which can be reached by a pleasant walk. There is also a metro and bus station in walking distance. An ALDI supermarket is about 5 minutes by walk from the hotel.

We booked bed and breakfast for 4 nights. On arrival the man on reception was polite and explained the basics, but didn't come across as welcoming; rather "po-faced" actually. There was a lift to the 4th floor and immediate impression of the room was that it was on the small side, with the wardrobe too close to the bed. Certainly no room for an easy chair. It was basic, but clean, with a small TV, luggage stand and desk, with various lamps. The bathroom was fine- decent sized shower with good water pressure, washbasin and bidet. Plenty of good towels. We didn't need the room making up as we don't stay in our hotel rooms very much when on a city break, but nevertheless on the first day we were asked (politely) if we needed fresh towels etc. Breakfast- a lot of reviews have commented here. Coffee was from a self-service dispenser offering various combinations. The American-style coffee was not good. I drink mine black so pressed "long espresso," then added hot water and it was quite acceptable. For making tea however the water isn't hot enough to make a good brew. The choice of breakfast was fine; there was scrambled egg and small pieces of spicy sausage, various nice types of bread, cheese, ham, fresh croissants, pastries, fruit, cereals, yogurt (plain or fruit) and a toaster. So , plenty to choose from; I really don't know why people are dissatisfied. The dining room staff kept everything stocked up and were very cheerful and courteous. Our departure was at 3.30 am to catch an early flight. Checkout was easy (the only extra charge was EUR 16 for the city tax. The receptionist offered to call a taxi, but we had learned that this would cots more than EUR 25, so we used UBER - he arrived in less than 5 minutes and the cost was EUR 8 Location is great. Quiet, opposite a nice park and close to the metro. The walk into the centre is about 20 minutes; plenty to see on the way in. Lisbon is a lovely place to visit, but wear good shoes!!!

Away from the main city attractions but right next door to a metro station. It is walkable but an uphill walk coming back from a day out of about 30 minutes. Reception staff efficient but not what I would call welcoming. Booking request of higher floor not near Elevator was not fully adhered to, not near Elevator but 1st floor room (it maybe that my type of room is not available on another for). Strangely bathroom window was open on arrival which we thought was strange but after closing it before we went out on our return we discovered why as without the window open the bathroom had a horrible musty smell. No other major issues with room and it was comfortable. Breakfast, the pretty standard food selection. Coffee not to my taste and tables very close together and difficult to get in and out from without knocking into the person sat at the table next to you. Generally an OK stay

Overall the experience was good. Breakfast was good, but a little chaotic at times (waiting to be seated, quite busy). The rooms could do with more amenities - the hotel had no irons (they offered us a laundry service with a 4 day turnaround which was no good to us). The room had no tea/coffee making facilities which was disappointing. But overall clean, and good location.

1- rude staff who seemed they did not want to be in work nor dealing with customers . 2- basic room no kettle no iron for people who are travelling we had to purchase one ourselves . 3- very noisy hotel the walls are made of paper I listened to someone snoring for 4 nights who wasn’t even in my room . The room is very dated and basic . Spend the extra money and stay somewhere better !

I normally review after a stay, but I am leaving a review mid stay. When we arrived in the evening we were met by what can only be described as a disinterested member of staff. In the room there was absolutely no tea or coffee making facilities, so we thought okay let’s go to the bar for a cuppa. No success, the bar is closed for business. So you would think maybe a vending machine would be available, once again, Nada. The TV on the wall was so small you almost needed opera glasses to view it, and as for WiFi, more buffering than signal. In the morning we headed down for breakfast, additional cost of €8.50 per person. The cooked option was chopped up hot dog sausages and scrambled egg, at least the welcome was better this time. So all in all I feel let down, I have visited many hotels but seldom found one to match the level of take the money and provide as little as possible to the customer as this one. Shame really, it’s in a good location, has excellent access to the underground and with some imagination and interest, could be an excellent choice. We won’t be checking it out again any time soon.

The hotel is located outside the city center by about 2km. This is not an issue since Uber's are so cheap: typically 4EUR to Rossio etc. We had a very nice room that overlooked the park and was very comfortable with en-suite. The only (minor) complaint is that the hotel room-safe was malfunctioning and there were no USB outlets ... perhaps management might like to buy some USB hubs. Our rate included breakfast which was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold buffet items. For some reason, the machine coffee always tasted sweet so we reverted to tea after that. I suppose, for those reasons, I could drop a star and give it 4* instead of 5 but why be churlish? We'd certainly stay there again. There is a subway station down the street, by the way, but you have to go around to Pombal (circle) to enter. An all-day subway ticket was 6EUR after you'd bought a travel card for 0.5EUR on your first trip (only available at subway stations). With Uber being so cheap, we didn't bother but the more budget-conscious should know that this is a good option.

We had five nights at the Hotel Miraparque and could not have been happier. Everything was above expectations, the bed was a queen size and the mattress and bed linen afforded us five nights of heavenly sleep. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day and the bathroom excellent with a toilet, bidet, bathtub and fantastic shower. Breakfast was an array of pastries, fruit, cereal, eggs, sausages, toast, jams, coffee, tea etc, and there's a small gym on the top floor overlooking the neighbourhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for a short stay in Lisbon. Highly recommended.
