Excellent location, Right near all the attractions. Airport Bus drops you off within 5 min walk from the hotel. Subway stations very close by in 2 different lines (red and green I think). Room was a bit small, but manageable. They provided a small cot for our 8 yr old at no extra cost. Early check in and Late check... more

The location is great. The staff is also great. I can say that hotel was not very good, but not bad either. Anyway, I do not think that is a 5* hotel. The Tivoli is a wonderful hotel. (not a hip hotel vibe... for that go down the street to the Sofitel). The hotel is definitely old world in terms of decoration but the rooms are recently furnished. We had a junior suite (a separate double king bedroom, a living room with a couch, comfortable chair, and desk/table...each room a flat screen... more

Nice hotel in the middle of Lisbon, close to all major attractions, adn close to subway station. The hotel is located on the main avenue. Great location, midway down the Avenida da Liberdade and one block from the Metro. We were upgraded on arrival to one of the newly refurbished rooms on the upper floors - brilliant views of the castle and the Avenida, and very quiet - and the Brasserie Flo for breakfast (and even lunch) was a delight. AMAZING CONCIERGE... unmatched by anyother for their heart and sincerity. GREAT RESTAURANT STAFF (Both restaurants), but better food at the restaurant on the Terrace (Even better food at nearby portugese food places) Rooms have an iron and ironing board... which are lacking in so many European hotels --- VERY CONVENIENT The bathroom marble floors looked worn, bathtub requires regrouting. We booked this hotel through easytobook.com and thought we were getting a great deal on a "5 star" with swimming pool. 1) The lobby is cool but the rooms are 1 star 2) First false advertising moment: The pool does not exist - it was a building site outside our window and we were woken up by drilling two mornings... more
