Our stay at the Mercure was in August, off season for what is basically a business hotel. The rooms are large, air conditioned and comfortable.Breakfast is pricey at 11 euros, there are nearby alternatives nearby - supermarket and shopping mall with food court accross the road. All the attractions of Lisbon are easily found with good metro, bus and traain services within... more

We stayed at Mercure for 3 nights and found it to be an excellent hotel. It is located in the business district but very near a metro stop. Lisbon is quite a small city and this hotel falls on the zone 1 hence the fare is minimum by metro. The hotel rooms had a good view of the aquaduct and... more

Had a reservation for a double room, instead we got a twin. We did not complain. Cleanliness of the rooms OK, but could be better. Restaurant with very limited menu - the food was good though. Cold room (out of the ventilator shaft came cold air and this we were unable to stop), we tried to get the room a... more

This hotel was a disappointment to me for various reasons. First and most important, the hotel is children-unfriendly and does not cater to families with babies - baby-beds were not available even upon one-month prior notice. In fact, the hotel does not provide them at all - but you don´t learn that until you check in. Shame for a 3*... more

The hotel is in the business area. It's very close to the metro station Jardim Zoologico, Train station and a shopping center. The is OK, english-speaking. There;s a swimming pool on the roof on the 9th floor. The rooms are spacious ansd clean. The idea of the mini bar took us aback a little. The bottels and snacks are connected... more

The hotel is located in the North of Lisbon, quite far from the center, but conveniently located nearby a metro station, a train station (if you want to visit Sintra), and close to the airport. From the hotel, it takes about 20 minutes to go to the center by metro. The staff at the reception is really nice and helpful.... more

I was visiting Lisbon on my own for a conference and this was one of the recommended hotels. I booked direct and got a cheaper rate than that offered by the conference organisers. Despite being a chain hotel, the staff were really helpful and friendly. There was room service, wifi at reasonable charges throughout the hotel and all the conveniences... more

The hotel is excellent value for money if booked online with e.g. Expedia. It's officially 3* but I would personally award it 4*. It was emaculately clean, modern, nicely decorated, polite staff. Breakfast was slightly pricey for what it was but enjoyable nonetheless. Excellent location, excellent everything really. Highly recommended. Oh and with regards to the hard beds and rude... more

Absolute nightmare, we went to checkout on our last day and the receptionist said that we had to pay out another 60 euros that was apparently outstanding for our final night. However, on arrival to the hotel we had been told that our full payment had been received for the week and as far as we were concerned the total... more

This modern hotel has a good value for money: for something more than 60 Euros per night (2 persons) we had a comfortable and clean room. Moreover, even though it is not located inside the historical center of Lisboa, is very close to a metro station so you can reach the center of the town in about 10 minutes. more
