Hotel Botanico is wonderful. We were there with my son in September 2009. The hotel has very good location - close to downtown, but on a small quiet street. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was rich and delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would like to visit this hotel again.

This is my fourth time staying at this hotel the staff are excellent rooms are clean and large breafast is good and fresh there is a. choice of two metro stations within five mins excellent indian restaurant fifty meters from hotel and a wine bar nearby.

I had a great stay at the Botanico. Paolo and Ricardo were very helpful and the 2 other gentlemen as well who I don't remember the name. It's 5 min walking to Ave. liberidad and 15 min walking to Bario... Room 55 has awesome views. I recommend this hotel, it's neat clean and great location.

We were happy with our stay at this hotel and would recommend it. The reception staff were helpful, the rooms were clean, and it was in a good position, a short walk from Avenida de Liberdade, Bairro Alto, the Miradouro viewpoint, Botanical Gardens, and not too far to walk into the centre/waterfront.
