The location was excellent, the staff was very helpful, and the room was great with two “balconies” and a huge bathroom. You could not ask for more of a hotel with a relatively low price in the heart of everything. The breakfast was fine and included in the price. The only problem, and it was a major one, was the... more

We only had a night here. The staff was very obliging. We arrived early and were jet lagged and got an early entry into our room. The room fronted a very busy pedestrian street with lots of nightlife. We enjoyed the view from our room, but it was VERY noisy at night. So I suggest requesting a back room. I... more

What I love about this hotel is the location. It is so close to cafes, eateries, 2 mins walk to Rossio square, i min walk to Hard Rock Cafe (for Inside Lisbon daytrip pickup), 1 min. walk to Post office, 10 mins walk to Elevador de Santa Justa, Praque de Commercio, Starting station of Tram 28, with a supermarket closeby... more

The hotel itself is ok, the room was fine, however... the bed was hard as a rock, and the hotel is located on the "eating lane" which is a pedestrian street with a ton of restaurants...great to go to eat...terrible to stay...there was terribly loud noise and music playing until 3 in the morning, sometimes later...it was horrible...we were on... more

We stayed in a double bed room at the back of the hotel. We didn't notice street noise but the walls are quite thin. We didn't notice this untill 6am each morning when the man in the room next to us coughed badley for 30 minutes. Not too much of a problem though. Hotel was nicely decorated. There is free... more

We found this hotel through Trip Advisor so I was worried about the noise beforehand after reading the posts. We took ear plugs and requested and received a room in the back. So we didn't have any outside noise, but it was quite loud in the hallway. We were right across from the elevator and anytime anyone got off or... more

The hotel was surprisingly quite given it's convenient location on the eating lane. Our room was spacious enough with a huge bathroom. The window opened onto an air shaft and next time I would ask for a different room as several opened onto an internal courtyard with a better view. The staff could have been more welcoming but they answered... more

This was our worst hotel experience in our 3 weeks trip to Spain and Portugal. My mother and I stayed at the hotel on 9th May and 10th May . We arrived via night train from Madrid to Lisbon at 8am in the 9th May morning. The first person that greeted us at the hotel was a sour faced man.... more

A real find in the heart of the Restaurandores "Latin" area. Carlos Rodriguez of staff was incredibly helpful before and during the three-night stay. Likewise for Antonio and Mario while there. Another "Carlos" is the owner, and who was as gracious as you'd ever want. A lovely ground floor sitting area is complemented by a terrific included breakfast in a... more
