I stayed 4 nights in this hotel with my spouse. I would say the best part of the hotel is its location: right in the city centre, sights and shops within walking distance, funicular and metro just beside the hotel... The worst part was not having air conditioning in room (but you could keep windows open all night which helped... more

The hotel is located nicely just off Ave de Liberdade and the airport bus stops right next to the road it's on. There's also a Metro stop right round the corner and the Barrio Alto area (good cheap restaurants and bars) is less than a 10 minute walk away (It only takes that long because it's up a steep hill,... more

Hotel being partially refurbished. Well situated right in the centre of Lisbon. Don't wait for a warm welcome. People running the hotel on daily basis aren't very welcoming, not even the ladies in the breakfast room ( which is too small for the number of tourists). Clean room and old-fashionned bathroom. You'd better ask to have a room on the... more

I stayed here for 4 days with 5 other ladies on a sightseeing trip. Having booked this hotel I was a bit apprehensive when I read the reports. The hotel is in one of thebest possible location for getting around Lisbon. It is very near some very good restaurants, the Metro and buses . The staff were friendly & efficient.... more

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights from 25th April with 2 others in a 3 single bed room. Everything you really need when just looking for a cheap place to stay in a shared accomodation - quite large room with not so fantastic, but quiet back view, tiny analog tv with 7 or so channels (only one in... more

Just got back from a 4 night stay ,, very dissapointed with hotel ,, rooms were very poor , grubby carpet, dated furniture & in dire need of redecoration with a very noisy street outside. On arrival was given a twin room not the double we booked , after a discussion with manager he reluctantly changed us to a double.... more

We paid 250 Euro for a 5 nights` stay (with breakfast, though not a memorable experience), but being right in the heart of Lisbon, right next to "everything" made up for it. Hotel a bit run down, staff very friendly and English-speaking. Recommended for budget travellers who`d rather see more of the world than spend some nights in luxury. more

Similar to other writers, yes the hotel is old fashioned, yes it could be updated and painted, but why? - everything is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, and its in a great little location The room was large enough contained a tv, and although our bathroom was small, it worked and there was always plenty of hot water The... more

The hotel has a prime location near Restauradores metro station and an aerobus stop. However, it is quite shabby and noisy. Our room was next to one of the fabulous old elevators, which are quite amazing and fun to ride, but make one hell of a racket when trying to sleep. The decor is dark and needs updating, the beds... more

It´s a really fair price for the services you have. The hotel is very well seated in front of "Restauradores" Square and in walking distance from "Comércio" Square(the biggest in Lisbon). It´s easy to take the sightseeing bus and the bus to the airport too. The rooms are wide and the street is silent, the cable car to the high... more
