First, the location is at the center of the old-town, second the service is first-class and personalized, and last but not least the view from the terrace is breath-taking. The staff is friendly without being obsequious, and they are well-trained. Also, the price is reasonable for what it is.

Apart from all the elements of a proper boutique hotel, the bario alto also has a fantastic concierge. They really helped us get the best expeience during our short 36hr trip to lisbon. And not to forget, this is also the best place in lisbon for a cheeky sundowner. However, do try and get a city facing room.

The location is just perfect, in the middle of everywhere..shopping, restaurants,nightlife..But for the price you pay the hotel's amenities are very poor.. The Bairro Alto Hotel as the name says is located in the top of the hill at Camoes Square at the Chiado area of Lisbon.
