So this place has changed names and is not listed on Trip Advisor as having changed to Albergo Odisseo.

I understand that Lisbon has a lot of terrific hostels and this one is no exception. We would like to have had a private bath, but they kept it very clean so it wasn't ever an issue. The hosts were brilliant and extremely friendly. Each day we came out of our room with a map and they were always happy and excited to share advice and thoughts on what to do and where to go. Absolutely the friendliest hosts we have ever had and we have had some very good ones in places like Ireland, Germany and Italy.

The big drawback is the location: It is located at the top of a very steep hill so it can be a struggle to get up with luggage. But then again, most of Lisbon is on a hill so you can't complain too much. It is also just off the main shopping avenue and very close to underground stops and an airport bus stop.
