This is an historic and tranquil quinta. The architecture beautiful - and the grounds are extensive (but not "cultivated"), with orange-bearing trees, flowers, and a meadow. We stayed at Quinta Das Torres which is a beautiful country estate located in a wine growing community about 30 minutes South of Lisbon. We arrived in the late afternoon for the last two nights in Portugal. The entire estate is covered in vines, which in October turn into gorgeous fall colors.
