**** star hotel

I visited Madeira a couple of years ago and it was a very quiet, but beautiful country. I stayed at the Hotel aldo lido with my boyfriend and my parents. As i am an arty sort, Madeira gave me a great opportunity to take lots of photos and sketches with the beautiful valleys, plants, towns etc. However, i found Madeira to be a very quiet place that would not suit youngers people... (having sad that my parents are 60+ and were a little bored after a few days).

Anyway, the hotel was very very clean and nicely presented. The staff wer friendly and helped out as much as they could. We found the kindest was the poolside waiter who always jumped at the opporunity to help.

The pools were very nice with a heated one outside and another inside. They were kept very clean and were quite quiet when we went which was nice.
