Very clean and with really nice bed. big bath tub. only the breakfast was poor. in city center, in front of Sé. really low price. no noise. kind staff people.

This is a typical Madeiran pension. or bed and breakfast. Breakfast is the same every day - rolls, cheeese, ham jam, fruit juice and coffee - the usual thing in Funchal. Don't expect 5 star service, although reception seemed to be (wo)manned all the time. Location near the Cathedral is great for eating out and getting the buses. Good value.
