We booked one week here at the beginning of August, based on the reviews we had read on tripadvisor. The plus points of Choupana Hills are the amazing location looking over Funchal, the beautiful pool and the levada running through the grounds so excellent walking on the doorstep. Stayed here for 10 days in a suite. The hot tub on the verandah is a must. The staff, all relatively young, are really friendly and will do anything for you; yet remain really professional.
