On arrival at the Albergaria Dias we were given a very warm welcome by Mr Dias, his son and their friendly staff. this hotel is small and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool a bit on the cold side!! it is very near to restaurants and local shops. Local buses frequent and easy to use. We stayd for 1 week, this hotel is bed and breakfast only, and enjoyed a comfortable stay in this family run hotel . more

This small and friendly hotel truly deserves its number 1 rating on Trip advisor. The staff are friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are clean and air conditioned and our bed was extremely comfortable (we didn't need to put a blanket on the mattress as another reviewer claimed we would need to do).... more
