I have stayed in Do Centro many times and have always had a pleasant holiday. Hotel is very clean and staff helpful. It is a part of portugese mentality not to be so open and talkative than in some other cultures and they also might be shy about their language skills. ......checking in you may experience not very helpful staff like how to get around, where to park a car or to take a bus? You have to find it out on your own. Don't hope too much if you don't speak Portuguese. Room itself for the value of money is ok (bed is quite soft and so do the pillow)... more

We stayed a week in this hotel - it is well located for anyone who wants to be near the historic city center.
