This hotel is really just an apartment block. The reception desk is only manned periodically. The Musa d'Ajuda is on the corner of two busy roads and is extremely noisy from all the traffic until the early hours of the morning.
All hotel services are at the Jardin d'Ajuda which is a steep 200 metre walk across two busy roads. You have to do this for breakfast and other meals, plus all other facilites such as swimming pools etc. If it is raining (as it was frequently during our week) you can get very wet walking between the two venues.
The Jardin was very well appointed but distant. more
