After booking ahead we were annoyed to get a small room with a crap view of the carpark and was told it is ok because it is close to the bar, so on that note decided a drink would be nice to top off a day of driving, no service in the bar. Tried to chill out around the pool,... more

We stayed at this Pousada for a our honeymoon. It's a small quiet hotel set on a mountain top with spectacular views of Geres. The staff were fab. The hotel is Colonial style with a lovely private pool. more

Been there for 2 nights on May 2006. First I must explain that the Portuguese Pousadas do not belong to the normal 1 to 5 stars rating for hotels; they are usually historic or rural buildings adaptated to receive guests.
