Stopped in Braga to see the Semana Santa celebration. Hotel was conveniently located to all the major sites of the city. Room overlooked the square and was very quiet. Downside was that we were far from Internet router and often lost service unless you were positioned near the door to the room.

Perfect located in the center of Braga you probably cannot find a better place than Dona Sofia. The rates are fairly OK and the rooms are spacious and clean. We had a nice room with a view over the square, service was good and the price reasonable. We had some bad luck with the weather but the hotel kept us in Braga, despite of the weather. The staff helped us wonderfully getting there by car. And spoke good Englisch. Good working silent airco in the room

A small hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. Quiet central location and nice atmosphere. Everything is within walking distance. Ask for a Map of Braga at reception. There is a cafeteria ('pastelaria Frigideiras do Cantinho') opposite which I thoroughly recommend.

Clean and comfortable with a great buffet style breakfast. Staff all spoke good English and were extremely helpful and friendly. Great location 5 mins walk from the main central square.
