The location is excellent but the hotel itself is getting a bit run down. The Reception area is located on the first floor, up some steep stairs. This is a wonderful, warm, family oriented pension, with 21 rooms, one minute from the Praca de Republica, the focal point in Braga. I have stayed here 3 times, and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The family who run in are friendly, helpful, and speak English. Some of the larger rooms are elegant, and the smaller ones are very comfortable.... more
