The rooms are well equiped and have awsome views to the beautiful (and very warm) pool and to the Castel/Citadel. You can enjoy the same views on the restaurant. The breakfast is above average and, for lunch or dinner, I would highly recomend the "Bacalhau assado" and the "Vitela". We tried other things that couldn't compare to these plates. The... more

We stayed at the Posada de São Bartolomeu on our wedding anniversary. It couldn't have been a better choice. Wonderfully large room, great, sparkling facilities, and a magnificent view across the valley at the remarkably intact Bragança citadel and over the town itself. Bragança is worth a visit, with good restaurants and good value everywhere. But it's the medieval village... more
