Peste Surfcamp was started by a family and it's based in the North of Portugal - Porto. It is known for being one of the oldest surf schools in Portugal. The owner, Luis Bessa, surfs since 1990 and teaches since 2004. The team is qualified as surf, kite and stand up paddle and his instructors also as lifeguards and school teachers with lots of experience and ready to help. The Surf Hostel is located 5 minutes walking from the beach. It is a big Villa (an old family house) that has been renovated in 2010. It is an amazing place to be where you can make lots of new friends and have a great time surfing and relaxing in a family environment. We are located where there are 60 km of surf spots for all types of surfers, you can find all types of waves with or without crowds. In the surroundings you can find cheap or expensive restaurants, bars where you can enjoy a good drink watching the sunset. You can also join us at our weekly parties at the hostel (normally the house is full of friendly people).
