I just returned from my second visit to the Cidnay and I loved it even more than the first time. The hotel is poorly described as being in Porto - it's actually about 15 minutes drive from Porto airport in the small town of Santo Tirso. But if you have a need to be in ST then this is a great hotel.

The hotel sits on the side of a hill - and the lobby which you enter directly off the street, is actually the top floor with the rooms, conference facilities etc on three lower floors. The rooms are large and well equipped though so far I've not managed to get one with a view of more than the car park.

The restaurant and bar have spectacular views over the hillside. Both are very stylishly decorated with fantastic panoramic windows. There's a large outdoor terrace that I've not yet managed to use because it's always raining!
