Have just enjoyed a week at the Athens Hilton. This is a good hotel which is well situated for public transport. Chose not to eat at the hotel as it was rather expensive so am unable to comment on the quality of the food. Would thoroughly recommend the Plaka Taverna for good food and service. more

My room (728) was spacious and modern, with Acropolis view. The view really was spectacular and large balcony and french windows allowed to make the best of it. Only stayed at the Athens Hilton for one night. No complaints, very clean Hotel, updated rooms, excellent location. Did not use too many Honors point for my stay which was a refreshing change from Starwood. Breakfast is a little expensive, $28.00 USD but what can you do? It's almost expected. Very happy with this Hilton. The location is good right off the Metro (Took the metro right from the Airport, very safe and clean). The inside of this location was just redone for the Olympic Games. We recently used points to stay at this Hilton. All in all, we'd recommend staying here again. The location is pretty good, about a 10 -15 minute walk to the Parliament and Plaka area. The staff wasn't great upon check-in, dealing with concierge, etc. They had a couple large business groups they seemed much more interested in handling. There wasn't... more

This hotel isgreat if you don`t want to be near the archeological sites, if you do use the clean and cheap metro. Our `acropolys view` ( needed a telescope ) room was very noisy as the front of the hotel is situated on one of the busiest road junctions in Athens, also close to 4 hospitals.
