This is a good hotel. The rooms are clean and their sizes were adequate. more
I took a group of students to Athens, Greece in mid-December 2008, just after the fatal shooting of a teenager by the police led to rioting throughout the country. We stayed at the Museum Hotel for seven nights. As it turned out, the focal point of the riots was the Polytechnic University – which is right across the street from... more
A classic Best Western hotel without any particular problems. I got a room at the highest floor and it had a huge terrace with a great view. The place was comfortable, quiet and clean. Rather small bathroom, but in all a decent room for the rate charged. Good breakfast buffet, and most staff understand English. more
This hotel is also reviewed under "Museum Hotel" where it has received even better ratings. We stayed here the first two nights (Friday til Sunday) of our Athens trip. Based on BW Museum's location near the National Archaeological Museum, I booked this hotel for two nights for a little over $100.00 per night. Room was clean and comfortable. However, the shower stall was quite small. No issues with hot water in the morning. But, the cramped shower made it difficult to move without hitting the faucet. The free WiFi... more

We missed our flight to Greece and had to call and cancel the first night, but when we... more
The reason why this hotel was selected was because it offered free wifi, which worked very well. The receptionist was extremely helpful is explaining directions to the Acropolis, and organising a taxi for departure the next morning to catch a bus to our ongoing destination. The only downside is that it is peripheral and outwith the centre of Athens, which... more
Main train station in Athens has no tourist info, period. In general, Greece has no tourist info, and no one seems to care. Some people are very nice, others very rude, and many speak no english. Take a cab for 5-6 euros to the hotel. By subway it's two stops @ Omonia, but Athens is pretty crazy. Hotel is in... more
The hotel itself is great...the staff was great, the room was above average...but the location?? Beware. Athens in general is pretty scary with a ton of vagrants and crack-adicts everywhere, but see the picture in the add?? That park is full of used needles and vagrants. There are military men hanging around the hotel corner because the Polytechnical school on... more
