Located near Omonia Square in the Psiri district (NOT Plaka as a few websites said) the BW Zinon is not hard to find, especially if you hunt beforehand for some maps. The price was right - this is the main advantage of the Hotel Zinon. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and newly decorated rooms, average breakfast. Athina- definately worth a visit, so much better than its reputation. Omonia- A mixed place from luxury to not so luxury, Honda Centre shopping mall. Sightseeingbus. This hotel was conveniently located and clean, but when I went to take a shower in the morning, there was no running water in the bathroom --not hot nor cold! Luckily it went off before I got in and soaped-up. When my husband went downstairs to ask why, he was told the city water department was not supplying sufficient pressure.... more
