The location is great-close to many sights and shopping. Room was kind of small but very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Athens! more

You cannot see Athens in 2 days, not what we wanted to see anyway. We stayed at a cheaper hotel for 2 nights, 3 weeks before and enjoyed it. The Herodion offered a lot more. The rooftop view and Spa is sensational! They had to pull the plug out of the spa to get us out (that's just an Australian... more

Everything we hoped for. Very 'Greek'. Excellent value in beautiful restaurant, cheaper than some local restaurants. Roof garden was perfect to relax with view of Parthenon and waiter service. Walking distance to all tourist attractions. Knowledgeable staff and clean, up market decor. The breakfast buffet was superb and would suit all tastes and appetites. more

We arrived at Piraeus early morning to endure a fight with taxi drivers there - they are unhelpful and surly & their prices do not relect the guidelines given at the port. AVOID them if you can! Our cab to the hotel cost 27 euros (list at port states 13 euros)!! HOWEVER, arrival at the hotel showed us a much... more

Very well situated 5 mins walk from new Acropolis museum, and also metro and Plaka area. Tranquil foyer, restaurant on site and also complementary buffet breakfast was excellent. Expensive mini bar but little kiosk outside for water purchase. Also good little restaurant next door. Room fine with pleasant street outlook. Had water jug for tea coffee but no iron, only... more

You can't beat the location- 5-8 minute walk to the Plaka, 3 minutes to the Acropolis Museum, 5 minutes to the outer boundary of the Acropolis. Very comfortable room- not large but typically european size. Very clean, comfortable king size bed- suggest you try to get on the upper 2 floors to maximize the view- especially of the Acropolis. Very... more

Hotel lobby was immaculate with shiny marble floors. Room was typically small but clean and comfortable by european standards. We had a twin room with balcony overlooking front entrance. Housekeeping staff were efficient and friendly. Front desk staff were helpful but not overly friendly. Internet available in lobby on six computers, but at a cost of 2euros/30mins. Rooftop jacuzzis (not... more

The hotel has a great location - no 2 ways abt it. Its a 5 min walk at the most to the New Acropolis Musem and to the Acropolis. The hotel room was clean but defintely dated. For the price I paid, I would have expected a bit more. The staff did put us up in a room with a... more

I stayed at this hotel over 2 nights at the beginning and end of a trip to the Greek Islands with my girlfriend. The first visit was incredibly disappointing. We were given a room on the second floor which just had two single beds pushed together and the room decor was like something from a cheap motel. Incredibly dated with... more

We were upgraded to this Hotel prior to our arrival having been booked for a quad room in the nearby sister hotel Phillipos. We we placed in a low floor quad room which was most comfortable. The two single rollaway beds were most comfortable with good mattresses and were separated by a sliding door from the main bedroom area which... more
