Took a group of A Level Students to Athens and we stayed here. Perfect for the tube. Staff really friendly. Some nights it was very noisy - Not only because of kids staying but their teachers in the corridors talking loudly for hours. Food was always with chips. I can not accept the comments fromt he other people there. I was sleeping there for 3 times and it was ok and everything working. Stuff was friendly, rooms small but clean - some rooms have fantastic view to Acropolis. Breakfast was good and different kinds of dishes. We had booked Candia Athens for four days June 2 -6 2007, and paid in full NOV 2006. Three days before leaving Australia, we received notification they were overbooked and had cancelled our booking!!!!! We had to rapidly find another hotel and have to wait to get our money back! Hotel not really in a great position but the underground tube is excellent and not far away. Dont ask for a wake up call as it wont happen and you will miss your tours. Staff not that friendly and rooms not that great. more
