We stayed at this hotel because of the Globus tour. The hotel has beautiful decoration in the lobby, but rooms are lousy! I guess their guest source is mainly through tour companies. Location is okay though. Won't go back. more

Location, location, location This says it all. We booked a Globus Tour and this was the hotel it provided. Hotel was average for this type of tour. However, we were within 10 minutes walking (uphill) to the Greek Tomb of the Unknown and its hourly ceremony. The Plaka was just a few minutes farther. The rooftop restaurant provided a beautiful... more
My wife and I stayed for one night. It is a basic hotel, nothing more, nothing less. The rooms were small and a little run down but the place makes a good impression with its lobby. There is a great view from the Olive restaurant on the roof although we didn't try the food. The buffet breakfast looks better than... more
Do not use for business! The hotel is well located and offers decent breakfast. This is about its only quality. A grand lobby raises expectations, and then you arrive in your room... the room I was given (€150) was small, poky, very dark, overlooking a tiny courtyard which got no light When I woke up I thought it was a... more
We stayed at the Titania for our honeymoon booked with gate1 travel after visiting Santorini, Mykonos and before Istanbul. By far the worst hotel of the trip and one of the worst we have stayed in. It barely warrants a 2 star rating. At first, from the outside and the lobby, it appears clean and comfy. Unfortunately, it is a... more
My wife and I, along with some friends stayed at this hotel for what was supposed to be 2 nights but was actually more like 1 night. RECO Tours DBA mymedvacations.com, booked us into this hotel but never picked us up at the airport and by the time we made it to the hotel we only had 2 hours to... more
Room was far to small for a triple. No room to put suitcases or move. Bathroom small and not enough lighting in the room. Even the cleaners struggled to make the beds. . Otherwise the hotel lobby is very impresive and the olive garden roof terrace restaurant has wonderful views of the acropolis on one side and st. Georges church... more
We went to Athens, Greece Feb 3-10 2008 and stayed at the Titania Hotel. Everyone warned us that the area it is located in (Omonia) was seedy. I assure you that we walked all around even to midnight for a week without any problems. People are very nice and nearby restaurants are great including a 24 hour souvlaki restaurant. The... more
I spent three nights in this hotel in October. It was ok, but not a very good value for the money. Certainly, upon entering the large, sparkling lobby, I had high hopes, which were instantly dashed upon seeing my somewhat cramped, somewhat dingy room. The room needed some maintence. There were some missing tiles in the bathroom, which one can... more
A very well located and convenient modern hotel with a welcoming lobby. Our rooms were lovely with contemporary furnishings and updated bathrooms. Service was excellent with the extra pillows and blanket in our room in less than 2 minutes. We stayed there as part of a tour and the buffets were filled with a decent quality of a wide variety... more
