Booked the hotel as apparently it was close to the airport with a shuttle. Firstly the shuttle, you have to ring the hotel when you arrive at the airport so they can give you instructions over the phone on how to find where it is (not good if you don't have a mobile phone!). Why they can't post a map... more

My fiance and I stayed at the Holiday Inn for a night after five days on Milos. Our flight from the island got in around 6 p.m., and our next flight out was at 6:40 a.m., so we wanted to stay near the airport. We caught the hotel shuttle with no problem and arrived at the hotel, which is right... more

This in fact in a Holiday Inn no more – it a Crowne Plaza Athens. My stay there was quite unique – the hotel has just been opened again after rebranding: everything brand new, almost no guests, quiet and peace… OK, no buffet breakfast, but made-to-order eggs and delicious pastries speak for themselves. The hotel is centrally located, 5 minutes... more

Stayed there on a a quick trip to Athens. The hotel is okay, modern, but in the middle of nowhere. Restaurant is expensive, breakfast (22€) is expensive and room ammenities are basic, just a shampoo and gel. For 150€ a night (breakfast inlcluded) and taking into account you need a taxi (abt 20€) to reach Athens, I would not stay... more

People need to remember this isn't a Hilton or a Hyatt and that their start system is not the same as ours. They say 5 starts which in the states is probably close to a 3 1/2 or 4. This hotel was the best out of my 3 hotels in a 10 day stay. The rooms and beds were large... more

We were told this was a 5 star hotel, very close to the famous Greek ruins that Athens is know for. Were we in for a surprise! The lobby was impressive, but when we got to our room we were very disappointed. It was small (by European standards - average), decorated in a fabulous 1980’s style and had a wonderful... more

We arrived around 10:00am, and were able to check in early. The front desk staff was pleasant, and provided local area maps and directions to the subway. Our room was an executive suite with a nice sitting area and a good sized balcony facing the street. Only a couple of blocks to subway station. Bedroom furniture was a bit dated... more

I will keep it short, since I am not in the mood to write all the problems we had....... 1. airco in the room was not working 2. rude reception and duty manager 3. rude staff at breakfast time, we were ordered to leave the breakfast room because they needed our table for somebody else!! The biggest problem is the... more

This hotel labels itself as an airport hotel but is actually a 15 minute cab ride away ( with no traffic.) The cab ride from the airport was 26 Euro as they charge extra for airport tax, night time, and per bag. The hotel advertises a complimentary airport shuttle but it stops running at 10PM and when we tried to... more

This is the worst serive we ever received in a hotel, from all 2* to 5* hotels we ever stayed in. The hotel is apparently A+ category(similar to4* superior class), but the attitude from the staff was horrible and extremely rude. we stayed in the hotel in April, and it was already very hot. We asked if the airco can... more
