The hotel is located right at the foot of Acropolis, and Plaka is within walking distance. SPAR supermarket is nearby, and there are also some other kiosks around where you can by water, beverages, etc. without worrying about hotel price. I stayed one night in the 5-star Divani Acropolis and then moved to the 3-star Acropolis Select (just 2 mins away) for 3 nights. As previously reviewed, within walking distance to Acropolis ( could see it from my balcony), the Plaka and even Monastiraki and Syntagma. Taxis plentiful if needed and subway clearly marked. Stayed here for a week in March, for a work event. The location was delightful, especially for what was a first time trip to Athens. The Acropolis is at the top of the street!
