As previously reviewed, within walking distance to Acropolis ( could see it from my balcony), the Plaka and even Monastiraki and Syntagma. Taxis plentiful if needed and subway clearly marked. Stayed here for a week in March, for a work event. The location was delightful, especially for what was a first time trip to Athens. The Acropolis is at the top of the street! Convenient, safe location. Looks like a hotel that once was but that definitely isn't now, although the newer part of the hotel might be nicer. Older part, threadbare, not fresh. And, they take the thin Greek-style mattress to a new low. Cleanliness OK, not great. more

Definitely not a 5 star! ideal location, within walking distance to the Acropolis and Plaka. Hotel staff are rude and unhelpful, breakfast is awful, the bar closes early. Rooms are very small and not very clean. This hotel should not be classed as a five star. more
