This is the best hotel we stayed in Athens. This is a modern and clean and it is very close to X95 bus station. We booked the hotel thru booking.com and it was good value. For some 20 Euro more compared to a typical 2 star hotel in Athens, we have a bigger room, a beautiful bathroom with bathtub, a... more

The decoration of the hotel is modern, I love it. The balcony of the delux room is extremely nice, just opposite to the national park. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. Good location, just 5 mins walk from the shopping and eating area, close to other main sightseeing areas. Staff are very nice! Much better than the Athens... more

Our family of three (including one young child) stayed at the Amalia Hotel for 10 days. This hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. We were close to tourist sites, shopping and there was easy access to taxis, metro. The hotel has recently been renovated and is well-maintained. It is definitely not a luxury hotel but provides good value for money.... more

We stayed at Amalia for a couple of nights. The rooms are very modern and clean. The bathroom was the best we had among the several hotels we stayed at in Greece. The beds weren't the comfortable, but the price and location made up for it. It also has free internet service near reception, which is great. Front desk was... more

My wife and I stayed at the Amalia Hotel in Athens for 3 nights from 5/28-6/1. We arrived at the hotel around noon. We had to wait for maybe 10 minutes until our room was ready. Our room #214 was perfect. It was everything we had expected. It was spacious and perfectly clean. The double bed was comfortable. The AC... more

We were on a 3 week tour of Greece with a small group tour company, Adventures Abroad. We stayed at the Amalia Hotel 2 different nights, before our tour of the Peloponnesus and after. For a commercial hotel it is great, large and quiet rooms, bathroom quite elegant. They have a free computer in the lobby which is nice. Our... more

We stayed at the Amalia for three nights over the course of our visit to Athens and the islands: two nights in standard double rooms, and one night in an executive room. We felt the standard room was good value at 110 euro including breakfast, but the executive room's balcony didn't justify the extra 60 euro it cost. The breakfast... more

I think when trying to find hotels in Athens, one need’s to understand the different areas and use certain criteria as the baseline for evaluation and selection This hotel was in a very safe area right on symmagta square (sort of pretty park, kind of like Union Square in San fran) right behind Platica where the restaurants/shopping reside and also... more
