We stayed a few days in Dryades Hotel to visit a bit Athens. This hotel is really well locatited in the city (20 min from downtown by walking), and we were really welcome. The hotel staff has been really nice to us, advising on the restaurant and the place to visit. If you are asking for a room with a... More

This is an hotel that I highly recommend. Perfectly situated in the center of Athens in the area of Exarchia. Near to Streffi Hills, the particularity of the hotel is the real intimacy shared with the style of old spitaki. Prices are very affordable. You will be welcome, sure.

We stayed in a double room with a view to Acropolis and remained very glad with our choice. We had a sunny balcon-terrase with a view to Acropolis, where we enjoyed our meals and sunshine a couple of times! The hotel is located on top of the hill and is nicely isolated from the main street noise, it's close to... More

It was a really good place to stay with older children. Quite a walk from the center or the Omonia metro station, but you could discover the "real", young Athens city. Close to National archeological museum also. The rooms were clean, comfortable, with recently renewed bathrooms and very cosy balcony where we could picnic some evenings. The terrace on the... More

A friend and I greatly enjoyed the stay there. Also it tends to be a little scary when you arrive there in the dark as the adjacent park is not lit at night and there is graffiti and placations everywhere in Exarchia. But the Hotel was nice though. And the view from the terrace truly is spectacular and the staff... More

The Dryades staff were friendly, and i felt like i was at home, literally. They really seemed to care, and not. The view of the Acropolis was amazing, and the area itself is wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Athens.

The hotel is situated on a small park, 10-15 minutes walking distance from central metro Omonoia station. 5 minutes with the taxi. Our stay started and ended with the great smile of the family members owing the hotel. They would be our life map during our stay there. Whatever we asked for, regarding directions and sightseeing, they would help us... More

This is a good option if you are looking for a good, clean, cheap enough accommodation in Athens. The girl at reception is friendly, offers maps and advices about the sights. But the hotel doesn't have its own reception, it is common with another one, next to it. You have to park the car on the streets nearby, because the... More

Had I just found this one on my way in instead of on my way out... I would probably have spent some more time in the capital of Greece. Dryades Hotel is located at the edge of upcoming hip Exarchia. Don’t let the grafity on the walls in the surrounding streets disencourage you. Some young Greeks hanging out there might... More

Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms. The toilet bowl was inside the shower curtain, which caused it to get wet while showering. The hotel staff was friendly, but didn't advise us properly on all our options for getting to the airport. Fortunately we talked to someone else on the staff later in the day, who told us about a much cheaper... More
