We stayed at the Hera in early Ocotober. Due to the strikes in Greece, we had to travel from the islands to Athens a day early. Hera was able to accomodate us for an additional night with no hassle. We really appreciated it given all the other uncertainty caused by the stife in the country.

The pros: The hotel is just a few blocks from the Acropolis so you can walk - especially convenient when there is a transit strike as there was when I was in Athens. Front desk people are quite friendly and they did help us arrange for their private driver to pick us up from the airport due to the strike....
