It would not be our first choice, but since there was an event going-on in Athens, we were lucky to have a fairly good place to stay-in. This hotel is located in a horrible location. Vacant, garage dump lots directly across the street from it. Groups of prostitutes just down the street at night. The King Jason itself is a clean, sleek and friendly hotel. The beds are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are nice, and the restaurant is good. However in order to get from the hotel back to the Plaka, you walk through what my students came to call "heroin alley," infested with drunks and users en masse. more
