Located 3 blocks away from Omnia Central subway station. Close to clothing shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the Acropolis and all of the sites in Athens. The hotel was good value and the rooms were spacious and above all clean with clean towels everyday. Staff were helpful and friendly enough. The hotel is close to Omonia Square and not far from Plaka. I would recommend this hotel but would recommend staying in Plaka foremost. Its a lovely area with the most to see and do. more

Having read many positive reviews, we decided to go for this hotel and we were totally disappointed. The rooms were very old and have worn out. The biggest problem was the air-conditioning. Although the sound of the air-conditioning unit made us thought it was operating, we just suffocated! When we opened the window for fresh air, there were many flies... more

This hotel, although not in the best neigborhood, was fine. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The location is good, with a 15 min walk to the Acropolis. The bathrooms were good. Nice, normal shower with a curtain and a tub. FINALLY! more

I stayed the the Ionis for a week. It is very clean and comfortable. They include a breakfast buffet, which has the basics, and was very fresh. The bathroom was clean, and had a great shower. The beds were alright, not the greatest, but certainly provided a great night sleep. The Ionis is close to Omonia Square which has shopping,cafes... more

Stayed in the end of June,2005. Staff is unpolite, but acceptable... Finally, after 20 min, they found a place to accomodate bicycles (in the luggage room, they question is why not to put them there instantly?).
