The hotel in of itself was very modern and quite cool. The room was great. The bathroom was by far the greatest part. It was all green marble. It had the most amazing Hermes beauty products at your disposal. The hotel did not have a view of anything, aside from the building next to it. The best way I could... more

We arrived at the Eridanus with a scary late night cab ride from the airport. We were greeted by the excellent front desk staff and our room was upgraded to an Acropolis view room. Our friends that arrived the next day didn't get an upgrade because the hotel was full but the staff was very accomodating. The rooms were very... more

After spending many stays at five star chain hotels (Hilton, Sheraton etc.) the Hotel Eridanus provided somewhat of a refreshing feeling. Those other hotels know that they can charge what they want for any ammenity, but the Eridanus was different and that is why I liked it so much. The area itself is close but not in the center of... more

The Eridanus offers personal service in a hip, comfortable setting. The location is equidistant to both artsy, happening cafes and the Athens club scene with revelers out 'til all hours. From the robes, to the complementary mini-bar beverages and Hermes bath products, this hotel may be small but offers elegant and individualized touches. Our room located on the first floor... more

We stayed at the Eridanus for three nights in early November. I can't criticize a thing. Room 501 is huge, with a spectacular view of the Acropolis from a large and comfortable patio. In addition to the usual costly drinks, the mini-fridge was stocked with free water and soft drinks. The bed was quite comfortable. In addition, we had a... more

The neighborhood is so-so but the property is excellent. The rooms are clean, neat and the bathroom was top grade. Soft drinks and water in the fridge were complimentary The Eridanus breakfast which was included in the room rate was the best and dinner at the hotel is also guite good. The service at the front desk and restaurant were... more

Room number 110 is very nice, it is a ‘deluxe’ room. The bathroom is beautiful. It’s great to have free water and soft drinks in the mini bar! The neighbourhood is not very good and the road next to the hotel is very noisy but with the windows closed you don’t hear a thing. Near is the earlier mentioned new... more

Me and my wife just spent 3 nights at the Eridanus earlier this week. We have travelled all over Europe (so aware of European hotel standards) and the Eridanus is close to a 3 star property. Location is nothing great (but I knew that before booking so no negative points for that). It is a 50 Euro taxi ride from... more

Eridanus Hotel is a hip, boutique hotel located in the (yes, it’s happening there too) up-and-coming Gazi neighborhood of Athens. Some have likened Gazi as the rising Greenwich Village of Athens in a NY Times article (which recommends a stay at Eridanus). As a seasoned traveler and past resident of Greece, this may be accurate. Regardless, it offers something different.... more

The Eridanus is a little oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Athens. The hotel is modern and clean. Rooms have high-tech fittings, fabulous bathrooms, great bath products too. The breakfast is great. Fresh croissants as good as in France! Some of the mini-bar drinks are free too. Comfy bed, luxurious linen and towels. Easy walk to the main attractions.... more
