As some people have mentioned in their reviews, Melia Athens is a top end hotel that changes mid range rates because of the neighbourhood it’s in. I’m sure that some people, especially those more used to the five star treatment, might be put off by the locale, but to be honest, the location is ok . . . . sure... More

The hotel employees were all very polite and friendly. Good location, only 20mins walk takes you to many different attractions. Room was nice and clean. Shower facility is great with sauna function. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast had a wide selection and variation of items. The roof top bar only seems to open during summer months. More

I booked my hotel for Athens using lastminute.com and got a great deal on one of their 'top secret' hotels - you don't get the name until you've booked for lm virgins - which turned out to Melia Athens. I stayed in an executive double and it was fab. Beautiful Egyptian cotton sheets, big comfy bed with loads of fluffy... More

During my stay of 3 nights I enjoyed its nice, clean and quiet back room, great king-size bed, gym and sauna for free as well as my own jacuzzi into my bathroom (deluxe room). The staff was great and mostly kind and helpful, even printed for free my air tickets. The negative part is that alittle attention is needed when... More

It was imperative that our 7 day stay in Athens was in a 5 star property as we were travelling with my older parents and wanted them to be comfortable, safe and happy. They were impressed by the service, rooms, breakfast buffet, facilities and courteous and attentive staff. Reception was busy most mornings catering to checking in and checking out... More

We stayed here in December 2011. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. As first time visitors to Athens, we weren't familiar with where to go or what to do. The Reception staff gave some fantastic tips to see the best of Athens and were only too happy to help with all our requests. We... More

We enjoyed our stay without facing any problems. The room was clean, the staff was polite and helpful, they are alla so organized! After a couple of days of my booking, they even called me to confirm everything and to make sure that they will offer the best solutions to what we needed! The location of the hotel is very... More

The hotel itself is good but not a location, it does not give secure feeling day and night. Athens has good transport network you do not need to be at central to reach sites More
