Well, Athens can be a bit special sometimes when it comes to the smaller streets, but I absolutely don't think this place is worse than the rest of the city, actually I think it is great. Let me take you though some points: - 100 meters from the edge of the Psiri central area, which means you have no noise,... more

A very disappointing stay…. The hotel itself is not that bad although I couldn’t recommend it. The location of the hotel is shocking in terms of surroundings. Infact, Athens shocked me! The Arion is centrally located down a tiny dodgy backstreet which I didn’t feel at all safe walking around day or night. The streets are dirty with uneven paving... more

The Arion Athens was a nice hotel and well located. It was only a few blocks away from the metro and right near some nice bars and restaurants. It also had a fantastic view of the Acropolis from the roof deck. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a great variety of food and was very good. more

Based on reviews on tripadvisor I decided to stay here for a 4 day stay in Athens. First (the only) bad point in my opinion. While the hotel is conveniently located for the sights in Athens, it is situated in a very dodgy, tiny street. I did not feel comfortable walking here at night at all. The positives, the price... more

This hotel is great value. The staff were wonderfully helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. The outside appearance was thankfully misleading. The location was very convenient for the Plaka area and eating out was fantastic. The food was great and very cheap. Great staff, great location and nice rooms. more

This was our second stay at the Arion. We had requested a room with a balcony a week prior, so were a little disappointed it was not available on our arrival. However, our room was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom, and with easy access to the roof terrace. Breakfast is standard hotel fare, perfectly acceptable. There have been many... more

We stayed 3 nights in Arion hotel and we're extremely happy with everything. The taxi driver had some trouble finding the place since it's on a small one way street in Psiri. While driving around to find the place we saw some of the area north of the hotel. Not recommended, atleast not at night time. Anyway Psiri is nice... more

We had a confirmed reservation at the Hotel Achilleas, which refused to honor it and sent us here instead. Our first impression was that it was located in a terrible area. Everything was graffiti-covered, and we even saw a kid spraying graffiti in broad daylight as we arrived. The hotel itself, however, was quite comfortable. The rooms were stylish and... more

Hotel clean and friendly, breakfast good with great views of Athens from the roof terrace. However the area its situated in is well dodgy. Drug users in many doorways in broad day light, hotel told us a methadone clinic had recently opened near the hotel. The grafitti was like something I had never seen before. Felt safer walking round after... more
