This hostel worked well for what we needed. We stayed in an all female room with 6 beds. They pack them in tight. You have to pay .50 for hot water so I took cold showers because I'm THAT cheap. They have a place to dry clothes on the roof that is covered (it was raining while we were there), but you need the key to get up there and I always felt that I was being such a nuisance asking for the key to hang my clothes or bring them down.

There is free wireless if you have your own computer but EVERYONE was having a hard time connecting so don't get your hopes up. It is about a 25 min walk to Syntagma square, there is a mall nearby with an internet place that put all of our pics on a cd for 1 euro and a supermarket a few blocks up the street.

The good thing about this hostel is that they are strict on rules, there is no curfew but there is lights out and quiet time. It was crowded with people so we made a lot of new friends. My only issue with the place is that... more
