We were recommended this hotel by a friend of my husbands, as he stays there when in Athens. The location is convenient to the Metro (only 1 block). Regrettably the neighborhood is not the best. Just returned from staying in this excellent Hotel. As soon as you walk in the lobby you can feel the friendliness of the staff & no problem viewing the room before committing to stay. We were sent to the Katerina after an overbooking at a different hotel, the staff at the katerina were aware of this and even though we arrived at 10am they looked after our bags and asked if we would like to have breakfast.
