This is not your common or garden B & B. It is, as it says, a guest house but again not in the usually understood meaning of the term. We would describe it rather as an experience and having looked at the adverse reviews I would respond by saying life is not meant to be a health & safety journey.... more

I am pleased to say we had a very delightful night in Athens, thanks to Franceska's gracious hospitality and her perfect location for seeing the old city by foot. We arrived at Franceska's Home by car, which I don't recommend for the weak of heart, and finding the B&B proved to be somewhat of a challenge, but once there it... more

Stayed there during a short business trip in Athens. Franceska's B&B is in a very safe and pretty neighborhood in AThens, very close to the Plaka. The rooms are small but the beds comfortable and the atmosphere of the place pretty unique in my opinion. I loved the display of Franceska's husband artworks everywhere. Franceska herself is a very charming... more

A wonderful and lovely place to stay, and it is infused with the owners’ artistic sensibilities. Franceska, the owner is charming, and thoughtful, and creates a friendly and warm environment, I met so many nice people there, and had many enjoyable meals at her round table in the gorgeous garden. I loved my rooftop room and the location. I walked... more

This bed/breakfast is ideal for families. It is walking distance to Panathenian Stadium, Plaka, Acropolis and others. The place is absolutely charming, including the garden, the decoration and breakfast in the terrace!! Also very clean and the hostess (Franceska) is amiable and thoughtful. more

Franceska’s home is a comfortable bed and breakfast style accommodation with a wonderful garden that serves as a dining room for people to gather and eat. Women travelers, especially those traveling alone, should find Franceska’s home to be a friendly and safe place to stay. Points to consider before reserving a room: 1. The house is not handicapped accessible. It... more

This is a very charming artist's home. The owner stays on the premises and is feisty yet very cool. It was convenient to Tavernas and to all of the main attractions in Greece. It is affordable. The beds or futons, couches, were at first glance unappealing and I expected to not sleep well. That was not the case. I slept... more

Franceska's home was a delightful surprise for my family of 6. It may be the most charming accomodations we have ever had. The wonderful artwork of her husband surrounded us as she made us feel totally at home. Francesca offered us cold drinks upon our arrival and then showed us the three bedrooms for our use. My husband and I... more

Horrible. The rooms were not rooms: there was neither intimacy nor space to leave your baggage. The beds were not beds, but old iron matresses. The house was dirty, you had to share a small bathroom and the owners were not informing you that there were any more guests sharing the house! Luckyly, it turned out to us very easy... more
