We stayed at this hotel in August for two nights. Though we arrived very late and were the only guests (Delphi is booming in winter because of the ski resort- but quiet in summer apart from tourists visiting the archealogical site) we were greeted with a smile.

The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are newly-refurbished and super, with stylish tiles and flufy towels, The main bedroom is clean even though the furniture looks a bit worn out. Breakfast was continental (fresh bread, cakes, jams, local honey, cheese and cold meat cuts), however, what we all looked forward to was the lady in charge of breakfast, who greets you with a wide, welcoming smile and is polite. She feels like a family member trying to make sure you have enough and eaten enough. Don't forget to try her super Greek coffee.

This is not a luxyry 5* hotel, but considering the value-price ratio and the service with a smile it certainly make is a great place to use as a base to explore Ancient Delphi... more
