I've been staying at this hotel since the mid-1990s and I LOVE the place. It offers travellers one of the best views available anywhere in the world and is incredibly atmospheric. I really wouldn't recommend missing out on a night in this hotel, even if with the allegations made by some visitors were true. Trying to understand these I have... more

It was offered to us as a four star hotel with a view towards the Corinthian Bay. Beds were broken and there was not hot water (weather was cold). The hotel rooms are at a lower level from the lobby (-1 to -4). To go up and down you have to take a very old lift that does not always... more

We visited this hotel during a school excursion. The rooms were uwfull, many lamps were burned, there was no warm water, and in some rooms there was no water at all! In many rooms were flying wild bees, many beds were broken, the lift was for some time out of order. The personel was unhelpfull and tired. Old furniture, no heat,... more

This hotel is indeed the closest to the archaeological site, but as has been pointed out by others, Delphi is a small town anyway. We had 2 interconnecting rooms on the top floor (ie one below the main floor) for us and our 2 children. The rooms were very basic and the bathrooms had frosted glass panels to internal air... more

I was sleeping when I felt a bug trying to go inside my mouth, I woke up very scared, it was a roach. I left immediately. Absolutely disgusting hotel. Three stars for Greeks perhaps some Europeans, 0 for Americans, Asians, and Latins. This hotel must be closed. more

When I opened the door there were cockroaches in the room, at least three. There was food left under one of the beds. Very unprofessional personnel. It is closed to the ruins but the other hotels in Delphi are also closed (walking distance) and for a few more Euros (5 to 10 more) you may get a much better hotel... more

The whiners are overdoing it--at least for the room we had off season on the top floor; I imagine one of their best. Yes the furnishings were simple. But we saw no dirt or other problems. It's an old family-run place in need of an upgrade, but I imagine that's why we had the best room in the house. The... more

We stayed here for because it had the only available room in town (lots of tour buses converged on Delphi on the same day, though it was off-season). We expected the worst, but it was generally a pleasant 2-night stay. The rooms with balconies and the dining room have the most spectacular views in town, and worth any minor discomforts.... more

We stayed at Vouzas Hotel for just one night. The official Greek rating "A+", the equivalent or a four star is ridiculous, or perhaps refers to the breathtaking view that you get from the rooms. Otherwise it is like being caught in a time-warp, with a 50s look, battered furniture, sullen staff, poor breakfast. It was not expensive though (76... more

This is a truely horrible hotel. The view as others have said is indeed stunning, you look out over a valley, mountains, and the ocean in the background. That is the only good thing to be said. We stayed for only one night, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The beds were very small and hard. Sheets were... more
