Its one redeeming feature is the view – nothing else! Oh, and it does have a pool. Our room was a shocker. The surround (door jamb) at the entry to our room had been virtually pulled away. Left no security in the room – anyone could have entered. Forget a safe – Amalia hotels don’t seem to have them. As... more

We are a couple who generally dislikes bus tours , but for seeing highlights of ancient Greece on a limited time schedule, we booked with Chat tours. Chat as well as several other tour companies use the Amalia chain. Other than for the crowds of bus tourists without which this hotel chain would not exist, it was a fine hotel.... more

We stayed one night as part of our CHAT tour of Delphi and it was much nicer than the accommodations we were expecting. (Side note, the tour itself wasn't as informative as we would have liked and didn't allow enough time to explore Delphi.) I loved the modern design of the hotel, and the pool and view of Corinthian bay... more

Stayed there in May 2008. It's a nice hotel, close to Plaka and other sightseeing, but the staff was not friendly at all. They always had an attitude. Their daily breakfast had waitresses, but you had to go get your own coffee, go figure!! They couldn't be bothered at all. (that's what they were suppose to do) more

This would have to be the worst hotel for service I have ever stayed in !! The staff have no idea what they are doing and according to the tour company this was a 4 star hotel.!!!!! The dining room service and the food were awful !!! I was expected to eat my watery powdered soup with a huge serving... more

Amalia Delphi was our second stop on a CHAT tour, so we did not pick this hotel. The chain is affiliated with the tour operator and most of the guests, but not all, appeared to be here with bus tours. All the Amalia hotels appear to get their hard, uncomfortable beds, flat pillows and tiny TVs from the same source.... more

Location and views were great. Service and friendliness was excellent. The hotel lobby and public spaces are nice but the room decor is a bit cold and the beds are not comfortable at all. more

A little further from the center of town than other hotels. Caters to tour groups more than individual travelers. Nice place, a little less than modern. rooms are charming, comfortable and clean. many of the rooms have great views (ours didn't) stayed with a tour group so we didn't pay directly but the rates I've seen look like a good... more
