Stayed at the Orfeas for 2 nights during an independent tour of Greece with 2 chums - we found it in Lonely Planet & phoned the previous day to book it.
We were coming by train/ferry/bus from Diakofto, & the lovely family who run the Orfeas arranged to collect us form Delphi bus station at 9pm, as we may have had trouble finding it - and the pick up was a godsend too!
The owner/father was a nice genuine guy & all his family helped out, even the kids!
A lovely new/refurbished traditional greek building amongst houses with the locals etc.
The room was basic but marvellous! A breathtaking view of the Gulf of Corinth It had all the mod cons required for 3 blokes travelling around, lovely shower, 2 separate rooms, one with double bed + one with 2 singles, lovely balcony area & 5 mins walk from the main Delphi thoroughfare (its situated in Upper Delphi), probably 15 mins walk to the Ancient site.
And the owner took us down to the bus stop in his little... more
