What a wonderful country inn. We had set out inland on Crete to explore the sights and went online on the internet and found this quaint, fully updated inn and took a chance. Although we had booked the room in the morning, the owner obviously couldn't contact us to find our our arrival time. We arrived about 5PM and found the place locked up and made some inquiries at a neghboring gift shop who contacted the owner in Hamia (about 30Kms away). We waited and shortly, the owner's son arrived and let us into the room. The inn only has four rooms, but the room we were given on the first floor was out of this world. fully modernized inside with full amenities, clean and most comfortable. What a great place.

The town is very small, with a church, a taverna, a gift shop and not much else, but the quaintness of the village and this inn was the highlight of our trip. (Okay the whole island is fantastic, but this place was outstanding).
