Hotel du Lac is in a charming town of Agios Nikolaos. We stayed in a room overlooking the lake - lovely view. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed while exploring the Eastern side of Crete. The hotel was a very comfortable base and I recommend it to travellers on a budget. more

The previous review is spot on - this is such a good choice if you're in pretty Agios Nikolaos and looking for a budget place to spend the night. Thanks to a Greek guy we met in the U.S., we found Agios Nikolaos on Crete, and thanks to our Fodors guidebook, we found the Hotel du Lac in Agios Nikolaos. It's a spectacular town that has a round lake that is fed from the sea right next to it. You can go full luxury resort hotel or budget hotel.... more
