We visited this hotel in the beginning of September 2009. We have one three year-old and one baby. The pool area is perfect for kids (and the parents too). The whole hotel area is very well kept and very clean. The breakfast buffet was very well worth the price (good food and rich selections). We didn't have full pension, but... more

Nice hotel to an acceptable price. Very nice pool area and apartments was newely renovated and nice. The madresses in the bed could have been better/softer and also some other types of blankets would be nice, But in total ok and we have no problem to go back again. more

Stayed here for the second time. Got wife and 3 small kids, and for us, this resort is bulls eye! The pool area couldn't be better with 1 pool for very small kids, 1 pool for slightly bigger kids, and 2 big pools for the rest. Lots of space and sunbeds. Friendly staff as well. Food could have been better,... more

Stayed for 8 nights in August for 150 euros per night BB for a double room booked through booking.com. Our room was at the second floor of a bungalow, there are also larger buildings with small appartments. Room of nice size, well equipped. Breakfast was sumptuous with emphasis on Cretan cuisine, it lasted till 10 a.m., which we consider too... more

We've just returned from a week at Sirios Village. The weather was great and always sunny (ca. 30.C). The room is big and clean. Bathroom was also nice. There were lots of children as it is holiday time in Europe and there were only Scandinavians and Polish. Although it was packed with children, they did not have a "Kids Club"... more

This place is a true gem! We booked through a last-minute website after checking out early from a disappointing place in Matala. The category was four stars but the standard was really high: magnificent two-bedrrom apt, large swimming pool area, giant lobby and beautiful gardens. Classy playground. We had half-board and the food was marvellous! Large buffet-style breakfast and dinner... more

Very nice resort in Kato Daratso near Chania. Lovely pool area, nice clean apartments. Do not eat at the buffet! The food was not good. Recommend to go to the restaurant by the pool, very good food and service...strange really, because it's the hotel that runs this restaurant as well. The prices was also very affordable... Did not like the... more

Recently stayed at the Sirios Village for 11 days half board with my friend. The hotel room was great, good storage facilities, comfortable beds, air conditioning and, as was the whole complex, fresh and spotless. Food was very good, not haute cuisine but mostly fresh and well cooked, a good selection to choose from for both breakfast and dinner some... more

Have just returned from a week here with our 2 young children. Originally booked a 2-room apartment which was disappointing and I would agree with a previous reviewer that the standard was more like 2 star. However, we upgraded to a luxury 2-room suite. This was wonderful and well worth the extra money. It had a large private patio and... more

Myself and my Fiancee have just returned from a couple of weeks in Crete, one of which was spent at the Sirios, which turned out to exceed our expectations. For what we paid, we were expecting something cheap and cheerful, with the usual crispy bread and rubbery cheese for breakfast, sullen, underpaid staff and an overpriced Bar. What we got... more
