The hotel The Almyrida Beach Hotel is a three-storey hotel situated beside a concrete parking area placed over a summer-dry river bed. It’s just a stone’s throw from the beach. Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10, dinner from 7 to 9, both of which are good quality and plentiful. There is a good swimming pool and a bar, open from... more

We were there for a week last September. Been meaning to add a review because I find the reviews so helpful myself! Excellent value for money - huge room with balcony & sea view, big bathroom and half board for about £300 between us (via freedomdirect). All staff were delightful and helpful, the maids had a laugh folding the towels... more

Our experience in this hotel was amazing! It was much better than we expected. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, decoration is very nice and the hotel is always very clean. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The beach is just in front of the hotel and is lovely. Meals were always very good, with plenty... more

Like the previous holidaymakers we stayed in the newer part of this hotel called the Alymirida Residence. The hotel was of a minimalist design in contrast to the older wing of the hotel which is more classically furnished. All the staff were helpful, especially on main reception and in the bar areas. Our room had plenty of space and the excellent... more

Why Almyrida and its beach hotel? Several reasons but basically we wanted to see friends who live near there, somewhere to chill with a beach, and we got reasonably cheap flights and accommodation (off the net). Almyrida is a small village beach resort. About three quarters of an hour by car from Chania airport. There is a beach sports school,... more

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful and peaceful setting then this could be the place for you. Almyrida is a very small beach community in the Chania district, 45 minutes drive from Chania airport and 30 minuts from Chania city centre. The Almyrdia Hotel owners seem to have the tourist trade pretty well sown up... more

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks ½ board stay at this hotel. The hotel is advertised as being 4 star, but by UK standards ranks as a 3 star. It is in excellent condition. Its also worth mentioning, that a new block has been constructed on the opposite side of the car par. This block though... more

Just returned from a weeks stay at his lovely little hotel. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we ended up with terrible floods which destroyed the hotel. It was heartbreaking watching the place being destroyed. The staff were devasted but still managed to guide everyone to safety. I hope that they can rebuild this beautiful little hotel to it's former... more
