Thia was a fabulous hotel. It is in a perfect location. Anita who runs the front deak was so helpful and gave us wonderful suggestions all over Crete, she made us wish we had much more time to explore the island. We had a two-night stay at Hotel Amphora in Chania...and we loved it. It is located right in the heart of the old harbor. Our room was good-sized, clean, with a balcony facing the harbor. We were on the top floor, so it was a bit of a heft to get our luggage up the stairs (no elevator)...but well worth... more
