Great little boutique hotel with a fantastic location in the city center (old city) near the habour. I think they had less than 5 rooms... Nice and clean, but fairly basic rooms. A lovely place to stay, very non-modernised 'old town' house above a craft and toy shop. We stayed in a twin room with a third bed built above the ensuite shower room accessed via a movable wooden ladder! Brass bedsteads, uneven floorboards and creaky old shutters to keep out the heat of the sun - superb. Don't expect a noise... more

A friend and I needed a break to recharge our batteries. We wanted sun, relaxation some good beaches and a comfortable, inexpensive place to stay. Pension Eva in Chania Old Town proved the ideal place. Eva is a 17th century Venetian house one street back from the waterfornt.There are plenty of good restaurants and bars (and a good bookshop )... more
